Oh well I've had tons of fun and will almost certainly revisit career mode with each of the next two DLCs. Flashpoint was clearly designed with an awareness of these issues, but it doesn't really get close to addressing them. Also, I find that lights are fun and mediums are funner, but heavy and assault play is way less interesting. This game is brilliant, but the fact that the strategic layer basically amounts to a linear climb into having an assault lance rather than being a proper roster management game limits replayability. ![]() Think I'm starting to lose interest in the game again, though. It's a pretty nice generalist as long as you don't try to take it into hot environments, but it's not a proper LRM 'mech as far as non-stock designs go. 40xLRM, 4xLRM Ammo, 2xML, 2xSL, and the rest in armor. I've transitioned into the all-heavy space and have an LRM Jager, but it's a wimpy generalist design rather than something properly min-max-y. Nice! I should bite the bullet and build a real specialist like that in my current career.
